Some Of Our Services

We proudly cater to all kinds of customers, from DIY enthusiasts to contractors and handymen. But for those who need a little bit of help getting the job done, we provide services that will take the headache away.

Wire-brushed hardwood flooring

By scraping the surface of the hardwood with a wire brush, we can expose the natural grain and create a striking look. Wire-brushed hardwood flooring has a rough consistency, and it shows off the imperfections like knots and gnarls in a perfect way. Not only is this kind of hardwood floor attractive, it is also extremely durable. By scraping away the surface, we get rid of the sapwood, leaving the hardest wood behind. Wire-brushed hardwood flooring is a great choice for home with children or pets, since any damage that is done will not be easily apparent. Scratches and marks will just blend in.

Red oak hardwood flooring

This versatile hardwood flooring comes in many colours, ranging from natural tones to cherry and ebony. We can match almost any shade that’s desired, which means this hardwood floor option will be an effective addition to any décor style and colour theme. We supply pre-finished strips that are up to eight feet in length, making this a popular choice for those looking for a cost-effective way to floor large spaces in a short amount of time.

Maple hardwood flooring

Maple is grown in abundance in North America; its availability makes it one of the most widely used materials in hardwood flooring. Like our other products, it comes in a variety of colours and shades, so you can customize your flooring to match your décor. Maple hardwood flooring is a good choice for those who prefer a more even look and colour that does not show a lot of grain.

Engineered hardwood flooring

If you are looking for an attractive but cost-effective alternative to hardwood flooring, engineered hardwood flooring may be the answer you have been looking for. It is made by compressing several layers of wooden materials and then adding a solid wood veneer to the top. Not only does this cost less than traditional hardwood, it is durable and less prone to the effects of temperature and humidity variations.

Laminate flooring

Made with wooden materials that are bonded with resins and presses, laminate is versatile enough to use in almost all parts of a house. We do not recommend its use in bathrooms or close to appliances that use water, such as the dishwasher and the washing machine. It is a low cost alternative to hardwood flooring that can last a long time as long as it is kept clean.

Herringbone hardwood flooring

Herringbone flooring can be made up from any hardwood flooring material. The difference is that instead of planks, smaller pieces of the hardwood are arranged in a geometric pattern, such as herringbone. Herringbone floors are available in the same colours and finishes as any other hardwood floor, and it provides the same durability and ease of maintenance, along with a uniquely attractive look.

Vinyl flooring

This is a great flooring alternative that is more durable than laminate flooring, but less expensive than hardwood flooring. Vinyl is practical and easy to maintain, and it comes in a wide variety of colours and styles to match any décor. With its resistance to scuffs and scratches, it works well in areas with a lot of foot traffic, and the fact that it is waterproof means it can be used in any space.

We will ensure that the job is done right the first time, so that you can enjoy your new hardwood flooring without worry about whether you will have to call us back for a repair job.

Hardwood floor finishing

Refinishing hardwood flooring can take three or four days.

Instead of taking the time to do it yourself, why not hire a hardwood floor installer who has the expertise to do the job quickly and efficiently? The basic steps to refinish hardwood flooring are as follows:

  • Rough-sand the floor to remove old finishes
  • Hand-set any nails to ensure that each nail hole will accept filler
  • Coat the floor with filler that more or less matches the colour of the wood
  • Allow the filler to dry, then sand with fine sandpaper to remove excess filler and smooth imperfections
  • Sand the floor one more time with very fine sandpaper and screen it with a mild abrasive
  • The floor is then vacuumed and finished, with screening between each coat.
